Overnight Accommodations

CAMPING - Have you dreamed of sleeping next to a restored 13th century village? Now is your chance! We will have the privilege of pitching tents in a field next to reconstructed Fort Ancient structures, adjacent to the forested Great Miami River corridor. The camping is primitive, and we are renting a port-o-let for the night.

HOTELS - Nearby hotels include the Holiday Inn Express and the Courtyard Marriot for those who prefer an indoor overnight experience.

Day 1: Explore, Experience, and Engage

Start your conference experience with an action-packed day filled with adventure and learning. Our field trips offer a unique opportunity to witness the beauty and importance of the Great Miami River up close. Immerse yourself in the natural wonders of our region as you embark on your choice of kayaking or tour bus excursion, allowing you to discover the treasures of our rivers while connecting with fellow professionals.

But it's not all about the fun and thrill. As dedicated watershed professionals, we believe in the importance of river restoration. Throughout the day, you'll have the chance to see up close several restoration projects. Learn from experienced practitioners, gain valuable insights, and acquire practical skills.

Day 2: Knowledge Exchange and Expert Insights

Prepare to be inspired and informed as we gather for a day of thought-provoking presentations and engaging discussions. Our expert speakers, leaders in their respective fields, will share their invaluable knowledge, cutting-edge research, and best practices in watershed management. From innovative approaches to policy updates, the topics covered will address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in our industry.

Join us!

By attending the Ohio Watershed Leaders Annual Conference, you'll not only enhance your skills and knowledge but also contribute to the larger mission of promoting the profession of watershed management.
